Farnworth Rose secure substantial six-figure settlement for local client

Nelson Solicitors, Farnworth Rose have successfully concluded a personal injury claim for a significant six-figure settlement of just under £1 million for a Lancashire based client.

In 2018, Mr M sustained injury at home, through no fault of his own having engaged the services of a reputable building contractor. His injuries which were of the upmost severity rendered him permanently disabled, and included a below the knee amputation and significant brain injuries.

Craig Bibby, Solicitor at Farnworth Rose commented:

“Our client required extensive hospital treatment and requires ongoing specialist rehabilitation and care provision as a result of his accident. Compensation claims at this level can often take a number of years to conclude but the firm were able to negotiate an acceptable settlement within two years, allowing our client to access the necessary support services he requires moving forwards”.

Lucy Bibby, Head of Litigation at Farnworth Rose added:

“We are delighted to have achieved such a successful outcome for our client. The Litigation team at Farnworth Rose were unrelenting in their approach to securing our client the compensation which he was entitled to as a result of this accident.  We wish him all the very best for the future and his recovery”.

The client was very impressed with the commitment shown by Farnworth Rose and intends to engage Farnworth Rose in relation to other legal services which he may require in the future.

Mr M said of his experience with Farnworth Rose:

“I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude for all your hard work on my behalf”.
