Farnworth Rose receive Cyber Essentials Certification

Farnworth Rose Solicitors have once again been successful in reaching the standards required for the Cyber Essentials Certification.

The Cyber Essentials scheme is a cyber security standard, which organisations can be assessed and certified against.

It identifies the security controls that an organisation must have in place within their IT systems in order to have confidence that they are addressing cyber security effectively and mitigating the risk from Internet-based threats.

Janet Lalor, Director at Farnworth Rose, said of the certification:

“We regularly review our IT security measures and achieving the Cyber Essentials certificate is a demonstration of our commitment to protecting the firm and our clients.

“Cyber security in 2020 is a vital part of risk management within any law firm and an area which we will continue to invest in.”
