We are pleased to announce that Farnworth Rose has been successful in retaining the Lexcel Practice Management Standard with our assessor once again finding no non-compliances.

Lexcel is the Law Society’s legal practice quality mark for client care, compliance and practice management. It is independently assessed each year and demonstrates a commitment to achieving the ‘gold standard’ of practice management, which only around 16% of all law firms have attained.

Our assessor commented:

“Since the last assessment team managers have increased in experience and responsibilities, freeing directors to focus more on business planning and development. A training academy has been developed to provide training initially for conveyancing staff.

Farnworth Rose Solicitors has a very effective management culture. The directors and managers lead by example and have high standards of work, not only procedurally but in terms of providing high quality service to clients.

People continue to be recruited into entry level positions and developed as they progress, acquiring necessary qualifications with the support of the firm. Directors and line managers are thought to be very effective – good at coaching and knowledge sharing.

Standards of client care remain high, the firm continues to attract and retain clients, and levels of complaints are exceptionally low.”

Director Janet Lalor commented:

“I’m delighted the assessor highlighted the significant investment we have made in terms of training and also promotion from within the firm whenever possible. The training academy we launched in 2022 has already paid dividends and we plan to extend this to other areas of law in the future.”
