Pendle Forest Hockey enter the business end of the season!

At Farnworth Rose, we have been delighted to be one of the sponsors of Pendle Forest Hockey during this season.

We have supported the team by sponsoring Pendle Forest Hockey player Sam Parker, with a Farnworth Rose banner also on display at the team’s home games.

Pendle Forest went into this season on the back of a fifth-successive promotion after they won the North Hockey Women’s League Premier Division.

That promotion meant that this season they have competed in the National Conference North for the first time in the club’s history.

The team have seen real success in the division, picking up 7 wins from their 12 games so far leaving Pendle Forest sitting in a fantastic 4th place in the table.

After the weather led to the postponement of Pendle Forest’s weekend game against the table-toppers University of Nottingham, the team will return to action at home against Alderley Edge on Saturday 22nd February.
