Paint, powder and Pendleside! Farnworth Rose take part in the 2017 Burnley Colour Dash

In our bid to raise £5,000 for the Pendleside Hospice, the 'Farny Army' added another £119 to our fundraising total by taking part in the 2017 Burnley Colour Dash.If you weren't aware, to commemorate our tenth year in business the team here at Farnworth Rose are taking part in ten different fundraisers to raise money for our chosen charity, the Pendleside Hospice. We are now well over the halfway point on our fundraising journey and on Sunday 10th September there was another event to chalk off of our list.Four members of Farnworth Rose's conveyancing department headed down to Thompson Park with over 1000 other runners on a splendid Sunday morning to participate in the 2017 Burnley Colour Dash. The event consists of a 5-kilometre route through Thompson Park and Bank Hall, however, there is a slight twist as participants are pelted with colourful paints and powders throughout the duration of the course! So at 11 am as the Colour Dash got underway, our four participants set off on their 5k mission. And we are delighted to announce that as a result of the kind donations our participants were able to raise, another £119 has been added towards our fundraising total! This means that the total amount raised by Farnworth Rose for the Pendleside Hospice stands at £3,171, meaning we need just over £1,800 to reach our target of £5,000.
