Farnworth Rose are actively seeking a Litigation Administrator to join our team!

Due to the restructure of the Litigation Department at Farnworth Rose, an exciting opportunity has arisen and we now require a full-time Litigation Administrator to join our team!

This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced environment with an established and well-respected name to deliver exceptional administrative and secretarial support to our solicitors and clients within the legal department.

The role:

You will be responsible for all daily general litigation tasks, including:

  • Taking new instructions from Clients and setting up new files;
  • Liaising with Clients throughout matters, providing updates, obtaining info etc via telephone and email;
  • Completing requests for Medical Records in accordance with GDPR;
  • Arranging appointments with Medical Experts;
  • Assist with obtaining disclosure and witness statements
  • Processing invoices and billing and chasing payments
  • Contribution to keeping the workflows and standard documents up to date
  • Diarising Court Orders
  • Correspondence with Court
  • Filing and Serving Court Documentation
  • Preparation for Trial/ Court Hearing (Arranging Bundles, Tel Conferences, Booking Counsel etc)
  • General assistance to Solicitors

  • Strong administrative skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • An excellent, professional telephone manner
  • A personable and professional approach
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve strict deadlines
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • A ‘can do’, self-motivated attitude

Essential:

  • Experience in this area of law
  • Previous experience working within a law firm
