Location: Nelson

Hours: 37 hours per week/Full Time

At Farnworth Rose, we are seeking a Conveyancing Enquiry Handler to work within our busy residential and commercial conveyancing departments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the acquisition of new clients to the conveyancing department by delivering high-quality customer service and converting leads into instructions.

The Conveyancing Enquiry Handler will often be the first point of contact and must ensure all prospective clients have a positive experience when making an enquiry with the firm.

Job Description

  • Handle the acquisition of new business byproducing quotes, following these up by phone and/or email, and securinginstructions
  • Setting key dates to ensure that no chase upsof quotes are missed
  • Taking calls from potential new clients
  • Chasing up new enquiries
  • Reporting on the conversion rates of quotesgiven
  • Dealing with our regular referrers regardingnew instructions
  • Opening files on the firm’s case managementsystem (data input)
  • Producing initial client care packs to send toclients
  • Dealing with the return of initial paperwork
  • Reporting to the head of the conveyancingdepartment on a monthly basis
  • Development of initial processes and workflows

PersonSpecification

  • 6-12 months of admin experience
  • Experience in sales may be advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a clear and friendly manner at all levels and through all mediums
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent client-facing skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and friendly team player
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage tasks within a timescale
  • Flexible individual who is able to respect and support others within the team
  • Ability to produce work to high standards and a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet required deadlines
  • Quick learner: good IT skills with an ability to use IT systems and learn new IT skills as required
  • Positive ‘can-do’ mature attitude
