Helen Harkley – Chartered Legal Executive
Helen Harkley is Chartered Legal Executive and key member of the Farnworth Rose team.
Helen has worked in conveyancing since 2001 and qualified as a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2010. She has since handled more than a thousands cases concerning sales and purchases, re-mortages and transfers of equity.
Sue Halleron – Conveyancing Executive
Sue Halleron is a Conveyancing Executive at Farnworth Rose. Sue joined the conveyancing team in 2016 after amassing 40 years’ experience helping thousands of clients in all areas of residential conveyancing.
She now works out of our Barrowford office assisting clients with all legal aspects of the conveyancing process.
Nina Barlow – Solicitor
Nina qualified as a solicitor in 2015 after gaining an LLB (Hons) degree from Northumbria University.
She has spent 5 years working within Residential Conveyancing advising thousands of clients in areas including Help to Buy purchases, new build purchases, re-mortgages, agricultural property and unregistered land.
Richard Farnworth – Director
Richard Farnworth is a Director and the founder of Farnworth Rose. Richard qualified as a solicitor in 1981 and held the post of senior partner at his previous firm for 17 years.
Richard is an expert in the commercial property area, acting for large companies and small businesses alike providing advice on buying and selling commercial property and advising on commercial leases.
Beth Holden – Commercial Property Solicitor
Beth Holden is a commercial property solicitor who has gained extensive experience working in the legal field since 1993.
Beth worked as head of conveyancing at her previous firm and adds a great deal of knowledge to the Farnworth Rose commercial property team.
Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney
Amanda Coates – Solicitor
Amanda provides expert advice to Farnworth Rose clients on Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney, as well as assisting clients with Court of Protection deputyship applications.
Her in-depth knowledge of estate planning also allows Amanda to provide expert advice to clients on inheritance tax and the use of Trusts.
She qualified as a solicitor in 2011 after completing her law degree and legal practice certificate at UCLAN in Preston whilst working for the Crown Prosecution Service.
Amanda is a student member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP) and became a Dementia Friend in association with the Alzheimer’s Society.
Family & Divorce Law
Craig J Baldwin – Solicitor
Craig J Baldwin heads up the family law division at Farnworth Rose. Having qualified as a solicitor in 1984, Craig has spent 35 years’ helping people achieve real and workable solutions to family disputes after an unfortunate relationship breakdown.
Thousands of clients have already benefited from the practicable solutions provided by Craig, helping people see the way forward in the unfortunate event of a breakdown in marital and family relationships.
Craig is a member of the Family Law Accreditation and provides advice in all aspects of family law including divorce, cohabitation disputes, Schedule 1 Act Children Applications, ancillary relief, inheritance issues and prenuptial agreements.
Steve Gee – Solicitor
Steve Gee is an expert HR and employment law solicitor at Farnworth Rose, offering qualified advice on contentious and non-contentious aspects of the employer, employee relationship.
Steve qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and has now gained 11 years’ experience advising both employers and employees on disciplinary and grievance issues, unfair and/or wrongful dismissal, redundancies, long term sickness absence, termination agreements, rights of employees and claims in the Employment Tribunal.
Having worked in the manufacturing industry up to Board level, prior to becoming a solicitor, Steve has an extensive understanding of the day to day issues faced by both employers and employees and the workings of HR and employment law in the workplace.
